At Illuminate Counseling and Consulting, I help you strengthen your relationship with yourself and your loved ones. I approach each therapy session with curiosity, compassion, and a deep belief in your capacity for growth. I work with adults of all ages and especially enjoy supporting individuals and couples through periods of transition, such as marriage, parenting, and empty nesting.
In addition, I offer consulting services for athletes, parents, and coaches focused on athlete mental health, team & family dynamics, and sports performance. As a lifelong athlete, sports parent, and youth coach, I have personal experience with how challenging today’s sports environment has become. I’ve also seen firsthand the positive impact that targeted support can provide for everyone involved.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a certification in marriage and family therapy and a doctorate in sociology (PhD). I have over two decades of combined experience in education, social-emotional learning, and mental health. My passion for meaningful connection led me to become a therapist, and I feel honored to play a supportive role in my clients’ lives. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me walking my dog alongside friends, shooting hoops with my kids, or hustling after a drop shot. I also love sipping coffee on my patio while visiting with neighbors.
